Biography
Ho-Chi, Huang was born and raised in Taiwan, the youngest of four children. She showed a flair for fashion at an early age by her teenage years she started altering her own clothes, often being dissatisfied with their design or off the rack style.
With her mother’s support, Ho-Chi soon decided to follow her dream to become a fashion designer after high school graduation. In 2008 she enrolled in the fashion arts design program at Vancouver Community College, and by 2010 she showcased her first collection at Vancouver Fashion Week. Soon after completing her first two collections, she launched own brand “Ho-Chi” showing her entrepreneurial spirit.

Ho-Chi focus on modern and long-lasing designs, creating new styles with quality and timelessness that allow her pieces to be carried on for years to come. Every design and accessory is made with love, and passion to satisfy your need for quality hand tailored garments. Ho-Chi develops her pre-production line in her Burnaby studio, and collaborates with local small business for fabric trims and manufacturing.

Inspired by Ho-Chi's varied apparel industry experience; she fell in love with highly functional, innovative, and technical garments for menswear. Her philosophy is to design specifically for harmonizing the balancing modern aesthetics and high-performance men's fashion clothing. Ho-Chi Apparel offers a new dimension of freedom with functional, masculine, and urban tailoring. The designer uses low-profile and yet durable fabric to protect wearers from different weather conditions, keeping body temperatures regulated in natural and simple ways.
